氯化钆在熔盐LiCl-KCl中的电化学性质

Electrochemical Properties of GdCl3 in LiCl-KCl Molten Salt System

摘要: 研究了熔盐LiCl-KCl中Gd3+在钨电极上的电化学行为,采用改进的开路计时电位法和计时电位法研究了Gd3+/Gd氧化还原反应的热力学和动力学性质. 结果表明,Gd3+在钨电极上的还原为一步还原,计算得GdCl3在熔盐LiCl-KCl中的摩尔生成焓和熵分别为-1030.475 kJ/mol和-198.2 J/K, 691 K温度下扩散系数为0.62×10-5 cm2/s.

Abstract: The electrochemical behavior of Gd3+ in LiCl-KCl eutectic system on a tungsten electrode was studied, relevant thermodynamic and kinetic properties of the Gd3+/Gd redox reaction were investigated by chronopotentiometry and improved open-circuit chronopotentiometry techniques. The results showed that the Gd3+ reduction on a tungsten cathode occurred in a single step pattern. The apparent standard enthalpy and entropy for the GdCl3 formation were calculated to be -1030.475 kJ/mol and -198.2 J/K, and the diffusion coefficient was 0.62×10-5 cm2/s at 691 K.
